Tour Description

Departing from the V&A Waterfront, this scenic cruise takes you across Table Bay to circle the world-famous Robben Island. Relax and enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views of Cape Town's coastline, Table Mountain, and the Atlantic Ocean while learning about one of South Africa's most significant historical landmarks from the water.

Keep an eye out for local marine life, including seals, dolphins, seabirds, and, during whale season, the possibility of spotting whales.

Route

Depart from the V&A Waterfront and cruise across Table Bay to Robben Island, completing a scenic loop around the island before returning to the V&A Waterfront. Enjoy magnificent views of Table Mountain, the Cape Town skyline, Table Bay, historic shipwrecks, and abundant marine life along the way. Routes may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

Sunglasses, hats, a jersey or windbreaker as well as non-deck marking shoes (e.g. trainers/deck shoes), no black soles or high heels. You will be required to remove your shoes or shoe covers will be provided.
