Route
We do not feed or chum the waters to attract the seals, so they are never 100% guaranteed. The Skipper & guides try their utmost best to find and show you the amazing seals and other marine life. The route is heading out to the Oudekraal area to one of the seal colonies dotted around Cape Town, this one in particular is called Strawberry Rocks. The trip is very much weather dependent and at the discretion of the Skipper, who will make the final call should sea conditions change unfavorably whilst on route to the site. If sea conditions do not allow to get into the water, the trip will be converted to an Ocean Safari and the search of marine life will begin, otherwise the entire boat trip will be cancelled and you will head back to the V&A Waterfront. We do not want you to miss out on the potential of experiencing the spectacular marine life Cape Town has to offer, whether it be in or on top of the water.
