Route

Spirit of Victoria departs from Quay 5 at the V&A Waterfront and cruises out of the harbour into Table Bay. The route usually heads in the direction of Milnerton Lighthouse, before returning via the calmer waters of Granger Bay.

As with all cruises, the exact route may vary slightly depending on the sea and weather conditions on the day, but guests can always look forward to beautiful views of Table Mountain, the Cape Town coastline, and the city from the water.

Weather

The cruise operates in most weather conditions. Trips may only be cancelled or delayed if strong winds, storms, or unsafe sea conditions put passenger safety at risk.

What To Wear

In winter, warm layers are recommended, especially on cooler days. Scarves, beanies, and closed shoes are always a good idea. In summer, a light jacket or jersey can still come in handy once you are out on the water.
